    Floor Refinishing FAQ

Q: How long before I can walk on my newly waxed floors?

Light foot traffic is usually safe 4 hours after the final coat. We recommend waiting 24 hours before moving furniture back or performing heavy cleaning.

Q: How many coats of wax do you apply?

We typically apply 4 to 6 coats of high-solids premium wax. This ensures a deep, durable shine that can withstand heavy traffic and protects the floor underneath.

Q: Will the stripping process damage my baseboards?

We take great care to protect your property. We tape off baseboards and adjacent surfaces, and use precision tools to ensure the stripping agent only stays on the floor surface.
